WiFi remote mode: View from another location only when the camera has a supported WiFi connection with internet access. Motion notifications also depend on the connection and app permissions.
AP hotspot mode: View nearby by connecting your phone directly to the camera hotspot. No internet is needed, but the phone must stay within hotspot range.
Offline recording: Save video locally to a microSD card without a network. This mode does not provide remote viewing or internet notifications. Cards up to 128GB are supported and sold separately.
Video and placement: Compact 4K camera with infrared night vision and a magnetic mount. Check framing and suitability of the location before use.
Power and optional cloud: 1400mAh rechargeable battery; supports recording while charging. Runtime varies. Optional cloud storage may require a separate subscription and an internet connection.
The UCOCARE C08 is a compact 4K mini camera with three operating modes. Without internet, it can provide nearby hotspot viewing or record to a memory card; it cannot provide remote viewing while you are away.
You are away from the camera
WiFi mode: Connect the camera to a supported WiFi network with internet access. Use the phone app for remote viewing and motion notifications, subject to your connection and app settings.
You are near the camera
AP hotspot mode: Connect your phone directly to the camera's local hotspot for close-range viewing without internet. Your phone must remain within the hotspot's range; this is not remote access from another location.
You only need local recordings
Offline mode: Record directly to a compatible microSD card without a network. It provides no remote live view or internet notifications. A card is required for local recording and is not included.

Da ich beruflich viel unterwegs bin, wollte ich eine Lösung, mit der ich von überall aus kurz nach dem Rechten schauen kann, ohne jemanden zu Hause losschicken zu müssen.Was mich bei diesem Modell echt überzeugt hat, ist die kompakte Bauform. Das Teil ist wirklich wahnsinnig platzsparend. Bevor ich sie fest installiert habe, hatte ich erst versucht, sie mit doppelseitigem Klebeband irgendwo anzubringen, aber das war bei der Wärme im Heizungsraum eher eine mittelmäßige Idee. Dann habe ich erst gemerkt, wie praktisch der eingebaute Magnet ist – damit konnte ich sie einfach direkt an der Metallverkleidung der Heizung festmachen. Das hielt sofort bombenfest und ich konnte den Winkel perfekt auf das Display ausrichten, ohne bohren oder groß rumfummeln zu müssen.Da ich die Kamera im Dauerbetrieb nutze, habe ich sie direkt mit einem USB-Kabel an den Strom gehängt. So muss ich mir um den Akku überhaupt keine Gedanken machen, was im Keller, wo man ja eh nicht ständig zum Laden vorbeischaut, am meisten Sinn ergibt. Ehrlich gesagt hatte ich erst meine Zweifel, ob die Auflösung wirklich reicht, um die kleinen Zahlen und Symbole auf dem Display vernünftig zu lesen. Man kennt das ja von anderen Mini-Kameras, die oft nur Pixelmatsch liefern. Aber das Bild hier ist echt scharf, man erkennt alles haargenau. Sogar die Nachtsicht funktioniert überraschend gut; selbst wenn unten im Raum das Licht aus ist, liefert die Linse ein klares Bild vom Screen.Dass die 64GB Speicherkarte direkt dabei war, ist ein nettes Extra, auch wenn ich primär die Live-Übertragung übers Handy nutze, um den aktuellen Status zu checken. Für mich ist das kleine Ding eine echte Erleichterung im Alltag. Ich spare mir das ständige Treppensteigen und habe sofort die Gewissheit, dass die Bude warm bleibt, egal wo ich gerade bin.
