It doesn't include a charging adapter, but you can use any standard one—like a typical mobile phone charger—to recharge it. I think the included SIM card is a great idea; it comes with a completely free 1-month trial offering up to 300MB of data. Once the 300MB runs out or the month ends, you can renew the service directly via the SIM card for 1, 2, 6, or 12 months—whatever you prefer. Alternatively, you can use a different SIM card you already own or purchase, as it is compatible with other cards—though you must disable the PIN for it to work properly. I want to emphasize this: if you use another card without disabling the PIN beforehand, it won't work because it can't log in correctly; since the device asks for a PIN but offers no way to enter it, you have to remove the PIN from the card before using it—this is a crucial point. Es muy fácil de usar, tan solo debemos ponerle la tarjeta SIM que ya incluye y yo además le puse una MicroSD de 64GB formateada en FAT32, en el móvil se instala la app UBox y le damos a añadir cámara, en ese momento simplemente con el GPS y Bluetooth activado, encendemos la cámara y escáneamos el QRCode con el móvil, automáticamente ya aparecerá en la APP.La SIM que incluye trae 300MB de datos por 1 mes, yo he desactivado el servicio de la nube, entonces ahorro datos ya que se guardan en la MicroSD, y solo gasto datos cuando me conecto para ver en directo o ver algún video grabado en la MicroSD, conectandome cada día un par de veces y tal, me gasta unos 10-20MB/día aprox.Cuando se gasten los datos tengo intención de poner una SIM mia que ya tengo, es importante quitarle el PIN antes ya que obviamente no hay forma de poner el PIN desde la cámara, la tarjeta SIM que incluye ya viene sin código.La calidad de imagen es muy buena, tanto de dia como de noche, la batería dura mucho, y es de muy reducido tamaño se puede poner oculta en cualquier sitio si queremos.Se agradece que la APP (al menos por ahora) no tiene nada de publicidad ni intentan venderte el servicio de la nube constantemente como ocurre con otras similares.
It is very easy to use; you just need to insert the included SIM card—I also added a 64GB MicroSD card formatted in FAT32. You install the UBox app on your phone and select "add camera"; then, simply turn on the camera with GPS and Bluetooth enabled and scan the QR code with your phone—it automatically appears in the app. The included SIM comes with 300MB of data for one month. I disabled the cloud service to save data, since recordings are saved to the MicroSD card; I only use data when connecting to watch the live feed or view videos recorded on the card. Connecting a couple of times a day uses roughly 10–20MB daily. When the data runs out, I plan to use a SIM card I already own; it is important to remove the PIN beforehand, as there is obviously no way to enter it via the camera itself (the included SIM comes without a PIN code). Image quality is excellent, both day and night; the battery lasts a long time, and the unit is very compact, so it can be hidden anywhere if desired. It is great that the app (at least for now) has no ads and doesn't constantly try to sell you cloud services, unlike similar products.

Thought there might be some kind of workaround to use WiFi for retrieval of footage but no such luck.There is a slot for a microSD card, though this will still require the use of a 4G sim, you're unable to set the camera up through the app without one being inserted. The manual advises you can email the manufacturer to ask for a 128GB card while they have some available, obviously won't be doing that given this was given for testing purposes.Camera is relatively small, a couple of inches cubed. I'm toying with the idea of installing this in my Abarth as they're regularly TWOC'd but would need to figure out some kind of SIM deal. Lebara looks like one potential option. However, I've already got a dashcam and the risk of not having that, outweighs the advantage of having this for when the car's parked up (in my opinion at least).

I was looking for a security camera that doesn't rely on a Wi-Fi network, since I turn off my internet router when I'm away from home for several days. This camera works really well and is easily accessible via the UBox app, although I'm still struggling to estimate its 4G data usage because the camera's operation isn't fully explained. When connecting remotely via the UBox app, the camera transmits its video feed to a server used by the app; watching the feed for just a few minutes consumes tens of megabytes from the prepaid card. The viewing angle is quite wide, and the image quality is excellent. As soon as the light level drops, the camera switches to infrared mode, delivering an equally sharp image. It also features a microphone and speaker, allowing for two-way communication through the camera! I plan to use the camera with a €3/month Free Mobile plan and will update my review after a few weeks of use!

I wanted to see how this fares as I need a separate camera in another room at my flat whenever I go for a holiday. I'd also like to take this to a campervan where needed.Now, this is solely 4G one, so you can't even put it in the wifi. This means you'll need to actually buy data to use this in the first place. No WiFi option but it does work well
I was disappointed to see that I could not link this into the WiFi I have available where I need it. I did look through the sales blurb before ordering, and whilst it did not say it could be used with WiFi, neither did it say that it could not, shame.Anyway, I tried to use it with a spare sim we keep for an emergency phone and this worked well. The camera is certainly discrete and easily hidden from view. As such it is not a visual deterrent but will provide some useful data in the event it is needed.Clever idea but would benefit hugely from the addition of Wireless connectivity in my view. Still worthy of four stars though.

Handy but expensive to keep
We have a couple of security cameras at home which run on wifi.I thought this would be a good addition for our car as it is so tiny.Unfortunately it does require a contract sim card, so although it is a decent camera could end up costing a lot more in the long run.
