My Arlo camera finally died on me but I don't want to spend a fortune on security so I got this one after shopping around. What I like about this camera is it's small, can be placed inside or outside. The installation doesn't take long (10 mins) and it came with a guidance sticker for mounting. Setting up the camera took me literally 2 mins since I already have the app in my phone already. According to the instructions you need to reset the camera but I did it without resetting it. As long as the red light is blinking which means it's in paring mode so you just need to get your phone close enough for it to read the QR code then it'll let you know that it paired successfully with a chime. I find this way it's much better than having to connect the ethernet cable to the mode or router. However like any other cameras out there it can only be connected to 2.4ghz not 5g. My favorite part about this camera is the ability to track movements or motions which is perfect since I ordered a lot of stuff from Amazon and now I can keep an eye on it whenever there's a delivery guy showed up. In case I need to view previous clips from the past I just need to go to the app and select whichever dates I want to view without the need of a subscription. By the way it came with a 32gb card which normally other camera don't come with it. The image came out of the camera is super clear but it also has 4 led lights built-in for night recording. I have also tested out the 2 ways communication of this and it's very clear, no lagging or buffering. So far I have been using this camera outside of my house in the rain and no issue at all. Finally it has the ptz ability so I can look at different angles or area that I want to monitor. Overall I give it a 5 stars since I can't find any flaws in this. It has great battery life; when connected to an external power bank, it easily lasts 14 days (I still have 1 out of 4 bars left on the power bank). What can I say? I am fully satisfied!!! I bought 3 indoor cameras and one outdoor camera with a solar panel. Regarding the 3 indoor cameras, the power cable is quite long and comes with a wall power adapter. They are easy to install thanks to the adhesive guides that show where to drill holes in the wall; the necessary wall plugs and screws are included in the package. The installation manual provides simple, step-by-step guidance for configuring the camera via the app. These products are excellent; the app allows you to adjust video quality, manually rotate the view, and activate the microphone to speak via your phone (the voice is reproduced clearly by the camera). You can take manual recordings or screenshots, or recording starts automatically when the camera detects motion. The sensors can be set to recognize human shapes and animals if needed. The outdoor camera's standout feature is the included solar panel, which makes installation less dependent on external power outlets; it continues to operate at night thanks to the built-in battery. In my case, I connected both cameras to a D-Link Wi-Fi repeater located about twenty meters away, and so far, I haven't experienced any disconnection issues. Pairing the camera with my mobile phone and home Wi-Fi router is guided by Italian voice prompts after downloading and installing the app. The wide range of settings offered by the app shouldn't be daunting; with a little patience, they are easy to use and very convenient. You can connect multiple cameras to the same app and share access with others so that everyone receives detection alerts. For instance, if you’ve shared the camera with a family member and are unable to receive alerts, either or both users can choose to temporarily stop receiving push notifications. Regardless, all detection events will be available for viewing whenever the app is opened. In short, you won't receive notifications on your mobile phone until you choose to reactivate them. It is also worth noting that the app allows you to monitor Wi-Fi connection strength and quality—and, for the solar-powered model, to check... ...remotely monitor the battery level to ensure it is always functioning correctly. If desired, you can also prevent the camera from being easily spotted by turning off the status LED, making it less conspicuous. Installation at a height of 2.5 to 3 meters above the ground is recommended. If mounted on the external corner of a house, you can view two sides by rotating the camera left or right via the app.

I didn't go through the entire setup process, but there is an option to enable ONVIF compatibility (disabled by default because it creates security vulnerabilities, as ONVIF lacks end-to-end encryption). By default—and for free—you can view the camera feed while away from home, even with a router that uses IPv4 NAT and blocks IPv6. Essentially, the camera connects to the manufacturer's servers by default, allowing the app to stream the video when you're not home. You have to pay extra for the cloud storage service (I didn't opt for it). It offers a simple, quick, and affordable way to get DVR-like functionality. You can choose between continuous recording and alarm-triggered recording. The motion tracking works well. Having used budget cameras for over 10 years, I am amazed by the night-time color quality of this one; there have been huge improvements in cameras under €80. You have to dig around in the settings a bit to disable the automatic floodlight. That was the trickiest part for me; otherwise, the light turns on whenever a passerby approaches, whereas I wanted the camera to remain discreet. It depends on your monitoring needs. The floodlight can actually be very handy, as it allows the camera to double as a motion-activated security light; I didn't need that feature, but it's likely a great option for some people.

Die Bilder, die bislang gemacht wurden, lassen aber vermuten, dass wir uns beim nächsten Versuch mit Bildern an die Polizei werden wenden können. You can set it so that it uses IR at night or of course just using the normal colour mode which seems to pick up a lot of details too.Extras that the camera can do include motion detection which can be adjusted on the sensitivity level. Mobile phone app connection, so you can get notifications on detection or review any footage you want straight from your phone then save and share it wherever needed.The 2 way audio helps as it's on the front of the house so i can tell people to leave parcels in the porch while i'm out or just warn people if they are doing something wrong (not happened to us as of yet).The best bit though has to be the 355 degree tracking, so whenever it senses movement it will track that movement until it no longer sees it then return to it's home position. It will even follow up and down.

All settings can be adjusted via the app. The camera would realign itself after every software update, but it was easy to return it to the starting position using the app. The power adapter got quite warm due to continuous operation, though this shouldn't be an issue; just make sure there is enough clearance around the power outlet. The camera must be screwed or mounted onto a wall or a solid object; simply placing it on a table or leaning it against an edge doesn't work. The motion sensor is quite sensitive and can be triggered by light reflections or changing shadow conditions, but the sensitivity can be adjusted in the app. Conclusion: Excellent value for money; I would recommend it.

We installed it before checking the Wi-Fi signal—we thought we were being smart by trying to set it up a huge distance away from the router. We had to wait another week to get a repeater, but now it works great. So, keep that in mind: check if the internet signal actually reaches the spot before installing it. Overall, it's a good choice; we have others in the house (it's installed in a country home), and this one has some of the best features, so it's great. I won't say too much since the product description matches what you actually get; plus, the seller sends instructions in case you run into any issues. Oh! I do have one complaint, though... keep in mind that different cameras might use different apps, which is a hassle. In other words, it's better to buy the same model multiple times than to buy several different ones. Overall, it's good—we're happy with it (well, *I* am; my partner says I'm obsessed). Easy installation but terribly slow; however, once set up, it gives no trouble. Initially, I thought night vision wasn't working, but then I realized I hadn't removed the film from the infrared sensors; once the film was removed, the view was perfect. By enabling the tracking function, it can follow people autonomously. Audio is perfectly clear in both directions. The power cable is reasonably long, though an extra 2 meters wouldn't have hurt. The Cloud subscription is perhaps a bit pricey, but it can be used without it via an SD card. The image is good and quite clear, and there is an option to change the resolution. In terms of video quality, it's better than the closed-circuit surveillance system I paid thousands of euros for, so overall I would recommend it; it lacks a few features, but it does its job well.

Sehr stabile WLAN Verbindung und mit der 32Gb Sdkarte auch ausreichender Speicherplatz. Die Bewegungsverfolgung habe ich abgestellt, da es mich nervte, dass die Kamera auch andere Bewegungen verfolgte. Es wurde nicht auf Personen beschränkt. Mit der KI (kostenpflichtig) geht es vielleicht besser. Habe noch auf Daueraufnahme gestellt, reicht ca. 3 Tage bei SD-Modus. Aufnahme abspielen ist bis 4x Geschwindigkeit möglich, was gut ist, wenn man was kontrollieren will. Im Großen und Ganzen für den Preis eine gute Kamera.

Using the app for set up was pretty painless but it's going to take some further exploration to figure everything out. Documentation isn't really a strong point.Camera installed easily enough, and did connect to our 5G Wi-Fi even though other reviewers and the camera instructions said it would only connect to a 2.4G Wi-Fi router. The microphone is very sensitive and picks up birds chirping from across the street. Daytime image quality is very good, will need to check night time images - you can set night images to colour or black and white.Still have to figure out the sensitivity settings, very sensitive to wind blowing the cedars on the driveway, rook it off PTZ setting so will see how that works.It is not a waterproof power connection - the power cable has a USB male end which plugs into an outlet converter. This limits its use outdoors, and should be manufactured with a proper power plug. The power cable is quite long and I was able to run it into an outlet inside the garage.Will update when have used it longer. For the price point it's pretty reasonable so far!Update: We have had this unit up and running for a couple of weeks now and I have to say that I am very impressed by this camera. Were able to monitor it while out of the country and connection to it was flawless. We even could see that there was one unknown person who came to the front door and had our house sitters go and check immediately. Still have wind blown trees triggering the camera, but easy to delete rather than set sensitivity too low and miss a human.If you are on the fence with this product, don't hesitate and buy it!
