What do you buy with the VM01 hardware?

Front-and-cabin coverage is different from front-and-rear coverage: the cabin lens looks inside the vehicle, not through a separate rear-window camera. Avoid budgeting for one package when the view you need calls for a different camera arrangement.
A memory card stores recordings locally. A mobile plan provides the compatible cellular connection used by remote functions. Optional cloud service provides its stated online storage features. Paying for one does not pay for the others.

The current supplied-SIM offers are described as unlimited data. Confirm any applicable service conditions in the app; this does not mean optional cloud storage is included or that the plan provides worldwide roaming. What else can affect the cost of a parked-car camera?
Vehicle power and installation
VM01 uses OBD-II vehicle power. Confirm vehicle suitability, cable routing and the manual's voltage settings. If professional installation or an additional compatible accessory is needed, obtain that quote separately; it is not included in the table above.
4G is a data connection, not an energy source. Parking monitoring needs continued power, local coverage and an active plan. A depleted battery, protective power cutoff or poor garage reception cannot be fixed by buying cloud storage. Use the parked-car acceptance checklist before relying on remote access.
Optional cloud storage
Choose cloud service only after checking what it stores, the retention period, retrieval method and current price in the app. This guide does not quote an unverified cloud fee or assume every clip is uploaded. Local card storage and optional cloud storage have different retrieval and loss risks; decide what evidence you need to keep and how you will save important clips.
How you use live view
Checking a vehicle briefly, leaving live view open and retrieving footage remotely are different usage patterns.
