You can search for the app, but I used the provided QR code to download it. You can also connect it to Alexa or Google Home. To install the camera/doorbell, there are two screws and wall plugs to attach the bracket to a wall, or you can use adhesive. There's a handy screw guide if you choose that option, but living in a brick apartment, I opted for the included adhesive. Only one screw is needed to attach the camera to the bracket. It's great!! Honestly, I didn't expect much from it, but it's really excellent! The camera itself is decent, the image quality is good, and it has cool features like allowing guests to leave a message, a voice changer so you sound different on the other end, an alarm, motion detection, clear audio, night vision, etc. We used it as a baby monitor, but it can do much more than a standard camera. Image quality is very good both day and night. It also features two-way audio. It comes with plenty of features right out of the box without needing extra subscriptions (unless you want their cloud storage, which seems to be much cheaper than Ring's). Setup really wasn't difficult at all. You just use the QR code in the manual, and it takes you straight to the app download. You simply install it and make sure you connect everything to your 2.4 GHz WiFi only. It doesn't work with the 5 GHz WiFi channel, so you might need to switch your phone to 2.4 GHz if you normally use 5 GHz. Otherwise, everything worked quite well. The instructions were pretty good, and there were several settings that could be... — settings can be adjusted to your personal preferences. There were several different sounds to choose from; I didn't try them all, so others might be better. On battery power, it should last several months before needing a recharge, though this depends on your recording settings—longer recordings, etc., will consume more battery. It can send notifications to your phone when it detects motion and also sends a snapshot when motion is detected. Very good camera – Highly recommended – 5 stars.

Key features include: ① High-capacity battery; ② App-based two-way communication via multiple smartphones; ③ 3-megapixel camera with night vision; ④ Quick response time after the doorbell rings; ⑤ Real-time video monitoring via smartphone while away, just like a security camera; ⑥ The indoor chime unit relies on sound only, but while it takes AA batteries, it also has a USB port—so if you plug it in directly, it will always work (note: the chime unit itself doesn't have a built-in rechargeable battery); ⑦ Great value for money! 😄 Areas for improvement: While the high-capacity battery means less frequent charging, and the main unit's USB and MicroSD slots have silicone seals, I would prefer a mounting bracket that snaps on to cover the top and sides rather than the current flat plate style, and I'd like the mount to be made of sturdier material. Also, being able to adjust the camera angle would be appreciated. It would be the ultimate security camera if it had a slightly wider viewing angle. The anti-theft alarm is a nice touch, but I’d feel more secure if the mount could be firmly screwed in at more than just one point. Offering an optional indoor chime unit with a built-in monitor would really set this apart from other brands (though I did set up an old smartphone with the app to use as a living room monitor). I’ve listed a lot of points, but overall, I think it’s a really good product. I can't speak to durability yet, but given the low price, I highly recommend it. I’m even considering installing a second unit as a dedicated security camera, provided the Wi-Fi reaches that spot.

The Doorbell arrived sooner than the suggested date which was good, very well packaged. It all looks very impressive and relatively easy to set up! That's where this review ends and why it only gets 3 stars, I've not had the chance to actually set it up yet, again this is a review being requested before the customer has had chance to set the item up and use it!Why request a review so soon it's all very silly and unnecessary and a lot more thought needs to be put in as to when the right time to request feedback/review should be!So 3 stars awarded when it looks like 5 would be more appropriate perhaps!
