Salvatore s.
5MP Outdoor Wi-Fi Camera Review. This product helps monitor and surveil our spaces—such as outdoor areas (or, in my case, the landing)—in an easy and practical way. The package includes: the camera, a 32GB SD card, an adapter, a USB cable, a screw set, and a user manual. In terms of build quality, it is a durable product; the camera is made of robust, solid plastic and holds an IP66 rating, making it resistant to sun, rain, and dust. Installation is very simple: just position it and then configure it via your smartphone. A key feature is its 5GHz Wi-Fi support, which significantly improves signal range and data transmission speed. Image quality is good; it uses a 5MP sensor capable of 1440p resolution (which can be scaled down to 1080p if desired). The image appears detailed, sharp, and colorful; brightness is impressive, and night visibility is equally good, allowing for clear details even when zoomed in. Naturally, night recordings are in black and white. The audio performance is mediocre—it doesn't perfectly isolate voices, though speech remains distinct during conversations. It features two-way audio, meaning you can speak through your smartphone and hear sound from the camera. It includes smart features such as Alexa compatibility, motion monitoring, and various built-in alarm systems. I hope this review has been helpful. Salvatore S.

First of all, I want to say that I’ve rarely seen such a simple and effective setup process ^^. The HD quality exceeds my expectations; details are clearly visible even during movement, both day and night, which is quite impressive... Thanks to the two-way function, you can get a view of the entire room. It features motion detection and plenty of options, including instant notifications (which can be disabled if you prefer). In addition to notifications, you can also set up a siren (very handy in case of an intrusion). You can record videos or take photos via either a memory card or the cloud—which I think is great—and since it’s waterproof, it can be used indoors or outdoors without risk of failure. In short, it has lots of features, and so far, I’m really satisfied because it’s even better than I imagined!

I am very satisfied with this security camera! It is practical, easy to use, and the video quality is truly excellent. Installation was quick thanks to the French manual, making it easy to get up and running without complications. One thing to note: it is better to use a memory card for recording videos, as the alternative is a paid cloud service. With a good memory card, everything works perfectly, making it an economical and effective solution. In short, this camera offers excellent value for money. I recommend it to anyone looking for a simple, reliable, and well-designed solution to secure their home.

I bought this camera to monitor the inside of my mobile home when I leave my teens alone. The camera features dual-band Wi-Fi (2.4GHz and 5GHz)—handy when the router is on 2.4GHz. The image quality is good, in my opinion. Colors are accurate, and the 5MP resolution provides a clear, detailed image. The camera rotates 360 degrees, and the app is simple to install and connect to the camera. Several options are available, such as motion tracking and motion alerts. The camera turns on a light at night when motion is detected. Zones can be programmed, and notifications are sent upon motion detection. The camera is lightweight; I temporarily mounted it on cardboard. It is rated for outdoor installation.

This outdoor camera from the brand Ucocare is really great. For starters, it uses the CloudEdge app, which I find quite easy to use (see photos 3 and 4). It is extremely easy to install and comes with a 32GB card. The 5MP resolution is more than sufficient, even when recording video or taking photos at night (photo 3). It allows for both day and night recording, with the option to track movement or trigger only via the human detection sensor. You can select a specific detection zone and access other features—such as the floodlight, siren, and two-way audio—directly through the camera. Recordings are clear and reliable. I have absolutely no regrets about this purchase.

A friend's car was lost, and another friend's items he bought on Amazon were also lost in front of his house, so I always wanted to install a camera. But after I used this camera, I realized that the camera has so many functions. When it detects moving Things will send me messages , and take pictures, and it will also sound an alarm. The alarm is very dazzling and sounds like a police car. It is very scary. It scared me when I tested it. If someone comes to my door, it will tell me that it is It makes sounds and lights and I can shout. I feel safe now.

Perfect camera for securing the outside of my home; it is mounted on the facade and withstands rain and sun well, as it is waterproof. Very good HD video quality. It works day and night and sends alerts for suspicious movement thanks to its motion detection function, which is configurable via the app. The app has quite a few interesting features (brightness adjustment, dual orientation, light and sound alarms, two-way talk via the app, automatic video recording, etc.). Top-notch 👍😁

After my neighbors experienced break-ins, I decided to invest in an outdoor surveillance camera. I already have an indoor one to keep an eye on my dog, but that model is from a Chinese site and offers very few features. This model is really good for the price. The image quality is excellent, whether during the day or at night (using infrared). You can move it remotely on two axes (vertical and horizontal), and if you wish, you can activate the tracking function (as shown in my example video, where the camera follows the person); a light also turns on to improve visibility at night. A great feature is that every function is customizable: you can keep the camera discreet if you prefer, or you can remotely trigger an alarm/siren to scare off intruders. You can also enable notifications; if you do, you’ll receive an alert the moment the camera detects movement, and the video will be recorded in the app. Regarding installation: I believe the included cable is 3 meters long, though I had to add a short USB extension for my setup. All the mounting hardware is included. Where I mounted it, the camera is quite exposed to the elements, but it seems to withstand the rain well.

It’s truly amazing; it has everything. Continuous recording, tracking, detection of people, pets, and cars, line-crossing alerts—plus every configurable option you could imagine regarding alarms, recording schedules, and detection settings. The image is crystal clear, there's a single app for both indoor and outdoor cameras, the app is very intuitive and user-friendly, and the connection is excellent... Basically, it has everything you could possibly want. Installation is incredibly easy—so easy, in fact, that I ordered another one for an area I still needed to monitor. I own several camera models, and without a doubt, this one offers the best quality and the fastest image loading speeds.

Set up a bit clunky seems to do okay.
Set up is not the clearest. There is a led behind the ring next to the camera. Which is very dim.During the whole set up I was looking for this led and just guessing. There are a bunch of other holes where leds could be but none of them light up.picture quality is decent i added a picture of that.It does include a power brick but its hidden all the way at the bottom. It has a weather proof connector but not sure if it can withstand the elements outside. The ptz motor has no end stops. So it will just hit the end and just struggle to move for a while before it realizes its hit the end. That is kind of annoying but will recalibrate after a while.Or can be manually calibrated. It does come with a SD card already pre installed. For 49.99 its a toss up but there is a 20% off coupon, so for 40 bucks its a compelling buy.there is a subscription service though if you want cloud storage, which isn't surprising to be honest.Overall 4 stars. Could be better, but also better than a few others i have tested.

A Complete Guard for My Home
Verified Purchase
This camera is very much an upgrade from those older, static cameras. It is very mobile-rotating 355° from side to side, with the ability to go up and down 90°. I love the feature since it does not present any blind spots that intruders may take advantage of to slip into your backyard. It not only watches but follows. It's really cool, because it is able to follow moving objects. If someone strolls past my house, the camera turns to keep them in view. This feature is really an asset in monitoring areas around my home where I would want to deter break-ins.The sound and light warnings were what got me most excited. If the camera picks up on something , like a squirrel darting into my yard, it initiates a bright strobe light. It's enough to make the critters scamper away.Along with the light, the camera lets out a alarm. It has gone off several times when my kids were playing near the camera, and it caught our attention so that we could check what's going on.Control of everything is through the app, which took a little time to get used to but is now intuitive to use. Being able to view my property from every angle, night or day with its color night vision, really gives me peace of mind.

If the main power cuts out, it resumes operation automatically without any hassle—just a 1-minute wait while it initializes. Includes a 32GB memory card (expandable to 256GB) and supports 24/7 recording. The camera comes with a pre-installed 32GB card, enabling continuous monitoring, recording, and playback 24/7 with no subscription fees. You can access past recordings anytime, anywhere, at no extra cost. The price is fully justified. Many thanks.

Reliable Outdoor Camera
Verified Purchase
I’ve had this outdoor security camera for a few weeks now, and it has exceeded my expectations in every way. The setup process was straightforward, and it was easy to connect it to my Wi-Fi. Because I want it to be connected to my plug inside, I had to drill through my garage wall to run the wire through, which was the most time consuming part. The video resolution is very good, and it captures things happening on the street. I got the camera mostly to make sure my neighbours are not doing funny business, and this camera helps me do that. The night vision is quite clear and I’m happy with this feature. Also, since I can talk through this camera, I was able to tell delivery people where to put my stuff when I wasn’t home, which was a neat. The best thing is that your can store data locally on a MicroSD card. A lot of camera now days only has cloud storage which is a waste of money IMO, and this camera even comes with a card. I will be getting a card with more storage later, but it is good that I don’t have to pay a subscription.

After having an issue with my old camera, I switched to this 5G model. Quick and easy installation. Simple to get the hang of using the smartphone app. It handles the 5G connection well, and the image is very sharp at 5MP resolution. You can define a specific monitoring zone. It allows for tracking a person's movement. I installed a 128GB micro SD card. Perfect; I recommend it.

I bought this because it costs less than at a physical store. Installation was easy, so I got it set up without any major hitches. I installed it to keep an eye on my home entrance, and it immediately gave me an extra sense of security. It’s practical, works well at night, and I can control everything from my phone, which is very convenient for me. With two kids, knowing I can monitor what’s happening outside gives me peace of mind. It was a fair price for what it offers, and it has improved our daily peace of mind.

The quality of this security camera is really very good for its rather affordable price. The video quality is excellent 👍, and the night vision allows for a really clear view in the footage. Connecting via the app is seamless, allowing you to receive alerts if there's an issue or view the feed in real-time on your phone. In my opinion, it offers excellent value for money, though the device's longevity remains to be seen.

Elle a tout d'une grande !It has all the features of a high-end model!
I have installed several professional video surveillance systems before, so I tested this €60 model without high expectations. To my surprise, what this camera offers for the price is impressive. Let's get the details not explicitly stated in the product description out of the way right off the bat: - If you want AI features, it costs €1.39/month. - If you want more than 6 seconds of cloud storage, prices range from €2.99 to €14.99 for continuous recording. Otherwise, a 32GB memory card is included—which is already pretty good—but it can be replaced with a card of up to 128GB. Despite a terrible French translation in the user manual, installation is incredibly simple. You just scan a QR code and follow the instructions. Image quality is very good, and low-light performance is excellent, whether in infrared or "true color" mode using the white LED lighting. You can count on a range of about 10–15 meters. Motion detection is quite fast. Two-way audio works properly. However, I couldn't find a zoom function. Encryption is available. Powering it via a USB-2 plug and adapter isn't really ideal for outdoor use; you'll need to protect the connection or buy a waterproof setup. For €60, you get a tool that is almost professional-grade.

Works well, though it did take a little hand holding
Initial install and connection to the app was really pretty easy. The instructions were clear enough to get the app and camera seeing each other. There are essentially no instructions for how to mount the camera, but it was self evident by just looking at it. You will need a fairly long, slim screwdriver to install using the phillips screws, something fat will be at too much of an angle to work well. For my situation I just had the pull the magnetic thing off my screwdriver because it was too wide. Once it was mounted it is really stable. Note that the power is supplied by one of those USB charger gizmos, so make sure you have a place to put it out of the weather. The camera itself is weatherproof, but the charger not so much.Next was what took the support contact. I run a bunch of different cameras at my place using software that monitors them all and gives me a web interface to the status. That requires the camera be available using ONVIF and RSTP. Spec on this one said ONVIF was supported, but RSTP was not. I was able to see the camera using an ONVIF search tool and could make some small changes to the configuration using it, but not everything. I contacted their support people and got an answer back overnight with a document attached with step by step instructions for connecting to my system. They actually worked, both ONVIF and RSTP. The camera is now up and working just as well as the other cameras I have online. I'm really pleased that is working, even though the spec said part would not.Functionality seems to be as expected. I'm using a SD card for local recording at the camera and my monitoring system to duplicate that as well. The camera is tracking humans as they are detected, and not tracking cats and dogs. I have two cameras from different vendors that use the same app, and the app itself seems pretty robust, though there is a short delay when first connecting to a camera. I couldn't really ask for anything more...

Buena calidad de imagen. Rotacion casi 360. Buena conexión. Tiene servicios con suscripciónGood image quality. Nearly 360-degree rotation. Good connectivity. Subscription services available.
This Wi-Fi security camera is an affordable choice for those seeking a versatile, cost-effective surveillance solution. It offers excellent image and video quality, with a resolution slightly higher than 2K, striking a good balance between file size and image quality. It features 400-lumen LED lighting and infrared capabilities, allowing for color night vision—an added security benefit in dark environments. Connectivity via 2.4GHz or 5GHz Wi-Fi offers flexibility and a more stable connection, making it suitable for both indoor and outdoor installation. The choice depends on the router or Wi-Fi access point being used; I recommend 2.4GHz for greater connection stability, as the required bit rate is not very high. It allows for 355° horizontal and 90° vertical rotation and features 5x zoom, ensuring no surveillance blind spots. It offers multiple alarm modes, including real-time notifications and a siren to deter intruders. It includes a 32GB SD card (supports up to 128GB) and free cloud storage for 6-second clips for 7 days. I haven't tested the cloud feature, as I am skeptical about third parties handling certain private data. No subscription is required to use the camera. As for the pros... ). Key highlights: Easy installation and quick, simple app-based setup with QR code support, streamlining the process. Automatic tracking and 360° rotation provide full coverage of the monitored area—especially useful outdoors or in large spaces like a garage. Night vision with LEDs. Two-way audio, enabling communication via the app. There are downsides, too: no option for a secondary power source or backup battery, meaning the camera stops working during a power outage. You could install a mini UPS—essentially a power bank connected to mains power—but that increases the total cost. A subscription is required for certain services, such as advanced AI features needed for vehicle and animal identification; while not strictly necessary, this type of strategy is annoying. For me, it has been a cost-effective solution offering advanced features like motion tracking, night vision, and Wi-Fi connectivity. Installation was easy, and instant notifications make it ideal for security in both homes (my use case) and small businesses. However, the lack of an internal battery or alternative power system can be a drawback during power outages, and some functions...

Buona telecamera wi-fi da esterno, impermeabile. App completa e di buona qualità.A good, waterproof outdoor Wi-Fi camera. It comes with a comprehensive, high-quality app.
Outdoor Wi-Fi camera. It arrives in a package containing the camera itself, a power adapter, a USB-C to USB-A power cable, a multilingual installation guide (including Italian)—which is concise but clear enough—mounting screws and anchors, and a 32GB microSD memory card. Pros: - Quick and trouble-free installation and connection to the CloudEdge smartphone app. The app is installed via a QR code link rather than the Play Store. - Video resolution goes up to 3K (2880x1600 pixels) and is of decent quality. It offers all standard control features: motion detection, alarms, two-way audio, night-time photo and video capture, storage of photos and footage, etc. - An advanced AI-based system is available (for a fee) that can recognize people, animals, and cars. Cloud storage is another paid service. - Good Wi-Fi reception: it works seamlessly at a distance of over 10 meters from the router, even with walls in the signal path. - It is IP66 waterproof, protected against dust and liquid ingress from any direction, and suitable for outdoor use. Cons: - It lacks a backup battery, so the camera stops working during a power outage. In conclusion, a good waterproof camera accompanied by a comprehensive, high-quality app.

Cumple bastante bien con lo que dice hacerIt does exactly what it claims to do.
I installed it on my apartment balcony to monitor certain areas when we aren't home, and it has worked very well—both inside the house and when I want to view the feed while away. I like that it supports both 2.4GHz and 5GHz connections, which is a great feature. Many modem-routers now come with the 5GHz option, making the camera very flexible in terms of connectivity and speed. Regarding video quality, I find it quite acceptable; while it’s true that you might not be able to make out license plates from a distance if needed, I have no complaints. Overall, I am very satisfied with this camera; I think it’s excellent for the price and very affordable.

Piece of mind
This was easy to install and seems to work great. Two issues: I had problems downloading the app to my Samsung phone. My friend did it on his Apple phone with no problem, but it took us a few tries to figure a workaround for me to be able to access the camera on my phone. Also, the camera seems to have all the bells and whistles I might possibly need, but it's not intuitive to use so I'm not 100% sure what or even if I'm recording to the SD card. I looked online for a user's manual and they several - but none for this model.

Macht was sie soll
