I have to say I'm impressed by almost everything about it. I've had it installed for about a week so far and my one worry was what the battery life would be like. So far there's been virtually no depreciation in the charge despite me playing around with settings etc on the first day, so I'm pleased with that. Installation was pretty straight forward. The instructions in the booklet and on the Cloudedge app on my phone were easy to follow, and set up was pretty simple. I had hoped to install it where my old doorbell had been but it was just a shade wide for that position, and in hindsight the edge of the wall at the front door would probably partially obscure the camera view in any case. It's now mounted on my porch support and gives a good view of the drive and path to the front door. The sizes, if you need them are: Length - 160mm, x Width - 58mm, x Depth - 39mm.The chime is fairly small: Height - 70mm, x Width - 50mm, x Depth - 34mm. It's loud enough though and has three volume settings. Also, because it runs on batteries (3 x AAA, which come with the package) it's portable, so it's handy if you're out in the back garden for instance, you can leave it next to a slightly open window.Wifi signal strength is excellent in my case, that said the doorbell is only about 3 or 4 metres from the router, so it probably should be. Still, a bit of thick tape over the speaker lowers the volume. Then there’s the thing I really don't like: on my phone (iPhone), if the app isn't running and the phone is on vibrate mode with the screen asleep, there’s no vibration, no notification—nothing. If the phone screen is on, no problem—the app doesn't even need to be running—but otherwise, nothing happens. Since I don’t want to have to remember to launch the app every day, and I want my screen to go into sleep mode (the same goes for the rest of the family), it’s going back. It’s a shame, because I really liked this doorbell and I’d still recommend it; for anyone whose setup works with it across the board, it would be perfect.

The unit is set off between 6 and12 times a day (my area is busy with people passing the camera).I charged it on the 4th of January, and it alerted me that it had 10% battery left on the 29th of March - so that should give you an idea on how often you may need to charge the unit depending on the settings you may require.I would say I have to charge the unit on the settings I have, minimum every 3 months.The downside is the design of the key provided to remove it for charging. It is really fiddly to unscrew using the key - it takes me around 3 minutes to unscrew it from the wall bracket.Overall - Good.
