The only down side if you want to call it that Is I had with this It did disconnect itself from the app and the network, I had to re-connect it. This is a good doorbell for picture quality , and battery life. Dead easy to set up too, and with good customer support. Sadly it’s flawed…..The AI supposedly adjusts itself for sensitivity eg, cars passing, but on any setting it still triggers alerts with car headlights passing at night, wind moving trees etc, and yes, cars passing. It just doesn’t seem to adjust anything at all. I get multiple nuisance alerts every day. By far the most annoying though, is the motion sensor. It takes too long to pick up movement of people passing or approaching the door . By the time it picks up someone coming to the door, they are AT the door !To give an example , someone walking past outside my house with their dog, left to right or right to left across my screen, is 3/4 of the way across screen before it picks them upIt spoils an otherwise good product.

Motion detector works well when the subject crosses the viewing plane but is poor when the subject walks straight at the camera. When the newspaper is delivered the motion detector responds as the subject turns away. I'm not sure if this is due to the camera being mounted inside an open porch (see picture). Installation is straight forward although fitting the security screw is difficult as it is set close to the wall.
